Energy without the 2pm crash
- The first energy drink my high cortisol can handle every day
- No sugar, and less caffeine than a typical energy drink (it's from green tea)
- L-citrulline gets more oxygen to your tissue, so the lift doesn't come from revving you up
Why it doesn't crash
A typical energy drink has one lever, a big fast hit of caffeine with sugar behind it. Caffeine blocks the receptor that tells your brain you're tired, and while it's blocked that tired signal keeps stacking up in the background. When the caffeine clears, all of it lands at once. That's the crash. The sugar adds a second spike and drop on top.
Nitro has far less caffeine and no sugar. Most of the lift comes from L-citrulline raising nitric oxide, which opens up your blood vessels so more oxygen and nutrients reach your tissue. The molecular hydrogen and B vitamins support your cells making energy instead of borrowing it against your afternoon.
